Runs capital raising and transaction structuring, and the government and regulatory process that most large projects turn on.
Eighteen years at Macquarie Capital, either side of a period in project finance advisory at EY, spent carrying infrastructure and energy assets through competitive processes to financial close. Social infrastructure in the billions, a deep-water export port, and energy from waste. The common thread is the point where a project stops being an idea and somebody commits money to it.
Brings the investor relationships that fund development work, and the judgement about which projects survive a lender's diligence and which do not.

Builds the commercial and financial structure a transaction runs on and carries it to close.
Twenty years at EY, most recently as the partner leading infrastructure advisory across South Australia and Western Canada, where building and running the practice was as much of the job as the transactions themselves. Seven major public-private partnerships taken to financial close, and work spanning generation, hydrogen, transmission, transport and social infrastructure, including structures that carried direct Indigenous equity in remote projects. A chartered accountant.
That was earned on both sides of a competitive process: designing and running them for governments, and bidding into them for consortia. It is why we can say early what a lender will fund, what a government will accept and where a structure will not survive diligence. Most of the value in a development is won or lost on those calls, years before anything is built.
Monty Denton
Principal
Runs origination and commercial development, and holds the funder and contractor relationships that turn an early position into a partnership.
A career across Macquarie Capital, Plenary and CIMIC, working major transmission, transport and energy from waste projects from the delivery side. Setting delivery strategy, negotiating the commercial framework, and managing the interface between owners, financiers and the people who have to build the thing.
Knowing how a contractor prices risk is what stops a development position being structured in a way nobody will build.

Leads transaction execution: the diligence, the model, the negotiation and the close.
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, ENGIE, Plenary and Frontier Advisors, across Australia, Mexico, Morocco and the United States. Gas-fired generation at the billion-dollar scale, an offshore wind development taken through mobilisation and capital strategy, and a portfolio recapitalisation and refinancing.
A CFA charterholder, and the person who runs a process day to day once a project is in market.
Saul Maserow

Runs the precinct, data centre and grid workstreams.
Co-founded and managed a renewable energy equity fund in South Africa, where the work ran from originating solar and battery transactions through to lender diligence and the facility agreements behind them. Small deals, done end to end, which is a faster education in development than a large one.
A chartered accountant, and the person who builds the underlying analysis on a new site or a new precinct.
Where this experience comes from.
Almost all of it was earned before Clearview Developments existed, at Macquarie Capital, EY, ENGIE, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, Plenary and CIMIC. We say so plainly, because a development business is worth what the people in it are worth, and it is fair to know where they learned the work.
Clearview Developments and Clearview Advisory were founded by the same principals. The two businesses do different things: Advisory is paid for its advice and holds no position in the work. Developments builds projects it has an interest in, and brings the capital partners who fund them.
